Laurentiu Lupu is a self-taught designer based in lovely Bucharest, Romania. He’s 26 and his work is mainly focused on web and logo design. Moreover he accurately tackles print and identity creation with a keen eye for details.

His approach to web design began in 2006 when alongside Octavian Stanciu, founded ‘Biotic.ro’, a small web design and consultancy company. This is the place that forged his professional experience. Since then, he managed to meet, speak and deliver work to clients, covering a large range of industries and human typologies. His main activities in the company are: web design (front-end and back-end), logo design, identity creation, print design and stationary, design consultancy, e-commerce, UI customization, CRM, CMS. In parallel, in 2011, together with Andrei Mihaescu, he started the ’Wingman’ project trying to rediscover the ‘art of gift-giving’. They found out that ‘Giving = Receiving’ and went on two consecutive years participating at ‘Street Delivey’ and ‘Femei pe Matasari’ urban festivals. Since 2012, Laurentiu is one of the founding members of Delivering Life, a non-profit organization, which aims to pull people out of their daily routine and make them smile for no apparent reason. It achieves this through numerous events and flash mobs. Main activities: handling the branding, graphics, promotion and of course getting involved in all of the events.

His weapons of choice are Adobe Fireworks and Illustrator, and is deeply in love with the shades of gray.

Laurentiu graduated in 2008 the Faculty of Political Science in English (ISCED 5) within the University of Bucharest, with the title of Political Science Bachelor. In 2012 he graduated the Faculty of Law and Public Administration within the Spiru Haret University in Bucharest, with the title of Law School Graduate.

He’s good with English and very bad with German, but he can communicate, develop and get flexible around beautiful people. He can drive, he can ride a bike and every now and then dance a little bit of argentine tango.
