Razvan Girmacea has graduated Computer Science in 2006, in Suceava(Romania), making the graduation thesis in Gent(Belgium). After that he followed a master program in Iasi (Romania) on System Informatics in Business.
In 2006 he joined Iasi’s blog community and in 2007 he joined Junior Chamber International (JCI).
At 17 years old he opened his first business, a computer room that was enough to support him in his first years of university.
He started his first web business in 2009, launching an e-commerce store that sold educational toys for kids: http://edukid.ro. He won 2nd place at Romanian E-Commerce Gala Awards on kids category. He sold the business at the beginning of 2012 to another local player.
In 2012 he leaped in the international market, launching Monitor Backlinks (http://monitorbacklinks.com). This project is addressed to a more technical public, those that optimize websites for Google.
In the autumn of 2012 he qualified with Monitor Backlinks to Startup Spotlight ( http://startupspotlight.co), an European Startup Challenge where just 30 projects made it and had a chance to present his start-up to a wide audience and some world-wide known investors.
