Nod Makerspace is a creative workshop of large dimensions , where anyone who has an idea, who wants to develop an invention or to build a prototype finds tools and special equipment too expensive to buy them on their own: laser engraving & cutting, 3D printing, CNC router, plotter, scanner 3D welding machine etc.
In a phrase, Nod makerspace provides space, tools, community, know-how and seeks ways to support its members’ projects.
We address all designers, artist, engineers, inventors, entrepreneurs.
Anyone who has an idea, an invention, a prototype and wants to design it beyond theory finds @ Nod makerspace the tools, the fabrication equipment and a community for advises and to assistance.`
The long term aim of this project is creating opportunities for improving local living standards and put together a powerful open-source community.
The goals that we have set for the next three years are ::
– the development of the learning component (courses, workshops)
– the development of the business incubator function
– Establishing synergistic collaboration with other existing activities in the cotton industry, in the area and in the city.
