Wintermag.ro: one of the most important online stores selling ski and snowboard equipment. I am managing the business and I am constantly looking for new partnerships both technical and commercial.

Summermag.ro: a fresh online store selling outdoor equipment. It is Wintermag’s smaller brother and we have invested all our knowledge into it.

I was part of the lovely Brainient team until March 2012, as a Research Engineer. I handled the research department, applying the science to increase the performance of video campaigns through interactive video advertising and personalized video retargeting. I have also worked at Bitdefender as a Software Engineer and some other small startups in Bucharest since 2005.

Technically, I am passionate about Computer Vision and Machine Learning. I enjoy developing applications in C/C++/Java using the Agile methodology.

I am also interested in business and product development. I am a big fan of 4 Steps to Epiphany and I am applying the lean paradigm in my projects.

I love working with young people. In 2010, I have coordinated Bogdan Antohi, Tiberiu Chibici and Andrei Iacob, students at “Petru Rares” National College in Suceava to develop “Vizor – school authentication system based on face recognition”, which won the first prize at the National Innovation Contest.
