I’ve been working in online marketing for about 9 years now and I’ve been through every role that a person can have in an online business.

I was involved in planning products and software: from idea to mockups, design, development, content, marketing and lunch.

But I’ve been also doing hands-on work like writing (technical copy, website copy, blog posts), doing support, marketing, and launching products.

With my blog, I was able to get some of my articles featured on sites like Moz, Copyblogger, Problogger or Social Media Examiner.

Back in 2011, I decided that it’s time for me to go on my own and since that time I’ve been working remotely 100%. I worked on my products, helped clients and also had part-time gigs with Social Media Examiner and Rainmaker Digital.

I helped Social Media Examiner with Analytics reporting and optimizing articles for search engines before they were published. For Rainmaker Digital I did QA work and customer support.

In 2012 I created and launched a premium WordPress plugin called Elevatr that creates email opt-in forms using point-and-click options (no designers needed).

In 2016 I partnered with the developer that helped me build the plugin, and we started working on a new email marketing software, with the same name, and we launched it in July, 2017.

For this project, I come up with the idea, product design, and the roadmap. I created documents which described the required functionality and then translated that into mockups.

I worked closely with designers and developers to make sure that the required functionality is implemented, I tested new features and confirmed them when they were done.

I verified milestones, prioritized development, orchestrated the product launch and executed on that launch. I created the landing page, launch emails and everything that was needed to launch the product.

I’ve been wearing all the hats in an online business in the past years and that helped better understand how to run one.

Email Marketing is a field that I’ve been working on a lot lately, and I know the ins and outs of acquisition, email content, conversion, and delivery.
