Girls in Tech exists to empower women in technology and make visible their innovative and entrepreneurial achievement in tech. And also to inspire girls in high school and college to embrace tech related jobs and projects.
After France and UK, Romania is the third European country to embrace the global network of currently over 8,500 members across the globe.
This network we’re talking about, so warmly called Girls in Tech, was started in 2007 in San Francisco by Adriana Gascoigne. Today there are chapters all over the world – in countries like France, Greece, Singapore, China, Taiwan, the US and more.
