Flaviu Dumitrascu
I am interested in entrepreneurship & social entrepreneurship, new technologies (especially the “green” ones), the automotive sector, reading, good food, nutrition, sports and many more.
I have a bachelor degree in Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic IT from the Academy of Economic Studies – Bucharest, having graduated in 2009. I also have a MSc in International Management from the Norwegian Business School – Oslo, Norway, having graduated in 2012.
Due to my complementary bachelor and master studies, I consider I have an understanding of the economic/business sector, but in the same time I have a deep interest in technology. Moreover, I have a thirst for knowledge, trying to learn new things every day and broaden my perspective.
Regarding my work experience, I have activated for 2 years as a volunteer in the League of Romanian Students Abroad, in Oslo, between 2010 and 2012. Afterwards, I worked as an market analyst intern for a R&D software company in Oslo, for 1 year. After my stay there I came back to Bucharest, Romania, where I worked for a while as a business analyst for Synygy (Arrezzo Romania). Afterwards I worked for 2 years as a counselor/market analyst at the Romanian Chamber of Commerce.
Now I am fully focusing on the development of CasePlease.
My long term goals involve creating something that can benefit not only me, but also those around me, including the Romanian economy as a whole. I would like the project I am working on with my partner, to contribute to the Romanian economy and society and be an example of good business.
