I’m George Platon – passionate web & mobile software developer. I work currently at Catalysts (http://www.catalysts.cc/) as a team leader. I love to attend different IT events, find connections and get inspiration. I’m also the organizer of local Web meetup in Cluj-Napoca.

I describe myself as a very passionated guy. I’m quite active here in Cluj-Napoca local tech scene, by participating at different technology events. I am an active collaborator of TodaySoftwareMagazine with different articles.
The idea for the SpotTune application came to me during my faculty studies. I’ve created a small mobile application as a proof of concept and then I’ve participated with it at a IT contest from Timisoara. Recently, as I’ve used the app quite some time, I’ve decided to add some more features and bring it to life!

The positive and good feedback that I’ve received from different entrepreneurs make me to dedicate more time to it.
After a lot of designing, building and testing phases I am proud about the result : an application that eases people life, really save time & let the users enjoy the most precious moments for them! All these through the various events/tasks that the application is ready to take care.
