Marian Posăceanu

I’m Marian Posăceanu, a software developer and co-founder of CasePlease. I’ve been building things for the web since the early 2000s, starting with Flash and moving through JavaScript, Java, PHP, and eventually Ruby and Rails.
These days, I work mainly with Ruby, Rails, PostgreSQL, APIs, search, and systems performance. I also build open-source developer tools and write about what I learn on my blog and Ark, my collection of technical investigations.
I enjoy learning new languages and borrowing ideas from different programming paradigms. I care about software that is understandable, maintainable, well documented, and measured rather than merely assumed to work well.
Away from code, my interests include music, audio and philosophy. You may also know me online as dakull.
